We opened our doors in 1985 as a small shop specializing in unfinished furniture. It wasn’t long before we realized Asheville was ready for a customer-focused home furnishings store. A store with a different approach to style and vision—one with more excitement, sophistication, livability and fashion. We knew we could fill that niche, and within our first few years, we became the area’s leader in first-quality designer furniture at affordable prices. Soon we added accessories, lighting, window fashions, and in-house design staff.
A fire in 2003 completely destroyed our beautiful store, but thanks to our loyal customers, friends, and suppliers, we were soon reopened.
