It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Well, no, we are not talking about the popular Christmas song recorded by Perry Como in 1951, but about the the festive Holiday Review Party held last Thursday at Yesterday’s Tree in the South Forest Shopping Center.
Hundreds of friends and supporters came together for food, drink, prizes, and an early look at thousands of decorating ideas to make everyone’s home shine bright for the holiday season. From Santas, to wreaths, Christmas Trees, and countless other holiday decor, Yesterday’s Tree Holiday 5th Annual Review Party has quickly become the beginning of the Holiday season in our community and the most anticipated Christmas party of the year.
The party was also held as a fund raiser for the Eblen Charities “No Place Like Home” Partnership with Drue and Alan Ray of Simply Home. The program assists senior adults or people with disabilities in accessing assistive technology that will support independence in the home setting. The program not only provides new and refurbished equipment, but also help to find resources to keep those who may have to move to an assisted living facility living safely at home.
